BEST BUY SCHOLARSHIP  open to grades 9-12

The Best Buy Children’s Foundation recognizes how important teens are to our community and our society.  Best Buy and Best Buy Children’s Foundation serve a diverse population of young teens in the areas of learning and leadership and provide access to opportunities for teens through technology.

 

Up to 1,200 students will each receive a $1,000 scholarship. If you’re a 9-12 grade student who plans to attend post-secondary education, have solid grades and are involved in community service or work experience, we encourage you to applyhttps://bestbuy.scholarshipamerica.org/

 

The application period closes on February 15, 2012 at 11:59 p.m. CST. A helpful hint... don’t wait until the last couple days to apply as the scholarship application site experiences heavy traffic at the close of the program. No late applications will be accepted. ANNOUNCING CAWEE SCHOLARSHIPS FOR 2012

The CAWEE Executive Board has recently approved a proposal from its Scholarship Committee to award ten (10) $200 scholarships for the 2011-2012 school year. This is a first! 

  

This scholarship is for seniors that have taken at least two semesters of Work Experience Education during the current year.  The Work Experience candidates must submit the application to the Work Experience teacher/coordinator no later than April 1, 2012.  Please contact Elisa Hilliard at 619.934.9576 for details on how to apply.
